This is a 'Map' produced by a Toronto based artist, Sarah Cullin. She creates these maps by walking around carrying a box which inside contains a pen hanging from the top acting as a type of pendulum, as she travels the pen creates a visual representation of her journey on the paper below it.

Hey Alan, cool piece of work. Cullen's maps remind me of an essay by Doina Petrescu on autistics, tracings and mapping the commons. Perhaps of interest?
